Plays music as it should because the volume jumps after a month of use. It's not very noticeable, but I wonder if it's because I don't play music loud at all. I keep it at 10 and that's enough to hear it without the TV on. I wonder if the volume would really skyrocket if I cranked it up a bit more. I find this disappointing because I dropped the Bose because of the price difference, but now I'm wondering if the extra $15 would have been worth it. If you need something loud for a large house, or even a part, I would go for the Bose. There are several Bose products in my family and even small portable devices are loud with perfect sound. I agree to keep this iHome because it's great for the area I wanted it for and good enough for music in the bedroom. picky, I make most mistakes when shopping online. This is just my review in case others are looking for a specific product. I know the pain of making a mistake when shopping online.
