Perhaps it would be a better product if the part the mattress sits on was made out of real fabric instead of paper.
I took the item out of the box and began to unpack it. In doing so, I noticed that the "white part" was starting to separate from the "grey part". The "white part" is mostly compressed paper fibers and is shockingly weak. I've had countertop placemats that were exposed more before they started falling apart. Perhaps it would be a better product if the part the mattress sits on was made out of real fabric instead of paper. I'm sure it's cheaper to produce it this way. However, it's such a flimsy material that I see that when my cat first walks under my bed, it starts to separate a little. Worth no savings.
