When I drink water, I want it to be COLD. So I needed a 1 liter cooler to fill my mug. I used to have a liter bottle of Rubbermaid, but it was frustrating to unscrew the cap to pour and then screw it back on. It only takes a twist to take it off or put it on. It also has a nice big opening for filling from a faucet and is shorter than the old Rubbermaid so it can easily be filled from any sink - even ones with a small gap between the sink and the faucet. The lid only needs a little. just over a quarter turn to loosen or tighten. WARNING: Turning it ONLY a quarter turn and then tightening will NOT fully insert it. Look at the shoulder: if you put the lid on and you can see the top of the shoulder, it's not closed. The cap should fit snugly around the shoulder. If not, it will leak and if you try to lift it by the cap, the bottle will fall.
