I love a cup of hot coffee, especially from the first sip. But I'm not a coffee purist either. I like the cream too. Now every time I pour cream, my coffee needs to be microwaved for 30-45 seconds. I have other mugs that can't be used in the microwave and it annoys me to pour my coffee into another mug just to reheat it. There are no problems with this beauty. The lid is beautiful. It slides open to retain warmth. It can also be completely dismantled, making the lid components easy to clean. Because it's a double-walled ceramic mug, it's not ideal for heat loss. It gives your hands a nice warm feeling but never feels too hot. But hey, my microwave is always with me! I have many other mugs and travel mugs that I have used for coffee over the past few months. But now I've found my favourite. Worth every penny!
