Coolant Test Strips WIX = Trash, joke, waste of money. The reason for this review on Revain is to let others know about this product. I have tested these test strips on two vehicles with the same coolant plus a new container of 50/50 coolant for at least 4 years. The test strips read everything at -60 and the pH didn't change either. The only thing that has changed is the nitrite levels. As a reference, I tried using pure water and it showed 10 to -12 for the freezing point and the pH was 6.5. I went back to my $1.24 hydrometer (from Wal-Mart). and one machine showed up to -10, and the other -25. I have never had any problems with this tool in the past. I think this is the right way. The reason I tried test strips was because they had to be very accurate. Yeah right! $20 for a vial of test strips. I didn't want to buy another one just to test this bottle of test strips. Hope others do.
