Packaging and accessories are very disappointing, CCA offers the bare minimum with the CKX and at this price point you really should expect more. The cable is nice and light, flexible and with nice ear hooks. You only get 3 sets of silicone ear tips and this is the first time I have had an IEM where none of the ear tips fit me properly. There is nothing more to say, there really should be more in this price range. However, these are arguably the best IEMs I have ever used. They're surprisingly small, I don't quite see how they can fit 7 drivers into these things, but they're there. Smooth polished zinc alloy, no sharp edges and fits my ear perfectly. Thanks to their incredibly small size, they adapt to every ear shape and size, they are perfectly shaped and you even forget you're wearing them. Bass lays the foundation for CKX's warm performance. This is boosted bass, albeit not quite to the level of a basshead. With the introduction of sub-bass and upper-mid-bass, the overall sound is clear and pleasant. The CKX can achieve a tight and satisfying rumble, but never disrupts or detracts from the overall sound profile. Excellent bass response. Their mids are clear and slightly pronounced. With warmth emanating from the bass, the mids flow smoothly and always complement the overall sound. The resolution and separation of the instruments is excellent, and the level of detail is very good. You get a very good stage feel, nothing cluttered or claustrophobic which is difficult to achieve effectively with IEM. The high frequencies appear relaxed and unobtrusive. There's a boost in the upper highs, so there's actually a sense of airiness, but not a tiresome shine. It's a smooth, warm high-end that's perfect for high-frequency sensitive listeners, no spikes or hiss in my ear. You can listen to CKX all day without feeling high end fatigue, it's definitely my favorite setup. CKX has to be one of my favorite IEMS to date. Build quality, compact size with amazing comfort. Combine this with a thoughtful, neutral sound setup, impressive detail and an open soundstage, and the CCA CKX truly represents exceptional value for money. I can really recommend the CKX, they fit perfectly and are tuned exactly how I want the IEM to be. Music and games sound so good with them, too bad the included accessories don't live up to their overall quality, but it's still worth every penny.
