Laptop accessory upgrade required

I've had it for a few weeks now. I decided to attach it to the screen because I couldn't get it to stay in any other position. The touchscreen is questionable and obviously doesn't work where the glue is. My HP Pen doesn't work with it. The screen seems to get darker; I can't even see what's in there.
