Although there are good membranes (mx keys, for example), it was interesting to learn why many people prefer mechanics. The extra millimeters of key travel also make a difference, but in the end, the feeling of typing is different and the mechanics should be considered for purchase if you print frequently. Worked with Experts The red-switch keyboard's keystroke is quite quiet; the sound is pleasant but not overpowering (though o-rings could be a good idea). Color looks better in person. I'm thinking of getting a carrying case so I can use this keyboard all the time, and I might even bring it to work with me sometimes. The negative aspects: There is one Win key coated in a thin layer of Kotska, which is hardly noticeable but nevertheless unpleasant. The coating also has a few tiny imperfections towards the gap's end, looking a bit like two drips. You could use these keycaps as a substitute.
