I live in Central Florida and have had some issues with full sun even though my phone's brightness was set to 100%. Although I usually work with my phone in these conditions, I have found that more than "normal" screen vision is required to fly the drone. While my prescription glasses are polarized and UV-blocking and help me see in bright sunlight, they work against me when I'm looking at my phone. THIS DEVICE COMPLETELY SOLVES THIS PROBLEM! Aside from being functional (let's face it, blocking the sun 3/4 sides isn't rocket science), this little sun canopy has a few tricks up its sleeve. Let's start with the fit - the sun visor has 3 very precisely placed cut-outs on the back, which are perfect for the antenna/mounting loops. This helps with alignment and also keeps the phone secure despite the hood being sandwiched between the rubberized tabs and the phone. The side flaps are magnetic for smooth adjustment so you can see the entire screen but get the exact angle you need to block out bright light. Each side has a flap to route the USB cable without having to try to route it behind the phone or around the hood. This allows me to plug in the USB cable perfectly without leaving much room for light to enter. Finally, it folds neatly and easily fits into many suitcases/bags. Although it feels very solid, it transports well and protects it from possible damage or bending during transport. This makes it perfect for most phone sizes, but doesn't add to the things you need to carry around or keep track of when traveling. While I knew I was getting something with list-based design attention, I was genuinely surprised at how it exceeded my expectations on every level.
