I needed something for my WFH-COVID desk to elevate my laptop and also maximize storage space. Sorry for the confusion in the picture. This is my dining table, this is the garbage can in the house. This is perfect for what I need. I had to add a few small drawers at the top to elevate my laptop over the edge for the forks to fit, but that's pretty minor. The back of the stand is open so papers tend to protrude from the back. It is very durable and easy to assemble.
