I was surprised by the quality for this price.

If you have a soap dish and are thinking about upgrading to a DSLR, I highly recommend picking up this or a similar set. After four months, I finally feel like I have a firm grasp on the camera's controls, and my enthusiasm for it has only grown. Again, just do it; you won't be sorry. It has several advantages: This is my very first digital single-lens reflex camera. It was a fantastic pick in my opinion. From 18 to 135 I took it right away. A SpeedLite 430 flash and a LowePro Rezo 170 backpack are also included. And I ordered a protective filter (100r), hood (150r), spare battery (150r), brush (50r), and a few more knickknacks from the Chinese because they were 2-3 times cheaper than the like items sold in the West but of equivalent or better quality. The pictures are fantastic, especially considering that they were taken with a soap dish (before that, I used an IXUS 220). Anyone on the fence about renting an SLR camera should go ahead and do it. - To my surprise, it wasn't any more cumbersome to transport than a soap dish. My wife and I didn't have any trouble carrying the 600D around; compared to Nikon, whose photos tend to look more "cold," I opted for Canon because I liked the look of its photos more; from Canon, I decided to take a crop for a start and for the money; from crops 1100, it's just some kind of plastic light and toy; from 7D, it's too pricey for me because I'm not planning to shoot sports just yet; from 60D, I As the 500D is no longer available and the 600D is more recent than the 550D (the price difference is not huge, so why take the older one when you can get the newer one for a thousand more? ), I opted to get the latter. - The folding screen has more benefits than drawbacks. You may get images from unusual angles, like as above or below your head, that would be impossible without it. The benefits become most apparent when using a tripod. You can't compare the 600D's ergonomics to those of Nikon's, Sony's, or junior Canon DSLRs; instead, you should just go to a store and try each one out for yourself to make a more informed decision. Cons: - I took 900 photos in all, rather than the 400-500 recommended in the manual, because at first I took 700 photos without video on the battery.
