Pretty easy to install on the BenQ TH585 which only has 3 mounting holes. I installed the brackets to the projector first and then to the bracket. Then I tilted the projector and had it balanced as it would be arm mounted. I was skeptical about the horizontal installation, but so far so good. I screwed it straight into the hairpin, bent my arm a little, but didn't fall again, just a week passed. Across the wall is the master bedroom and even with my toddler running around the room the projector doesn't move or pick up vibrations. I will update if anything goes wrong.
