When I first got this the colors were so vibrant on this warmer. The color does not fade even after washing, which makes me very happy. It's ceramic and can get hot, especially if you put it in the microwave. I have to use an oven mitt when removing them. I've even used it to reheat fresh tortillas I just made and they stay really nice and warm. The instructions say to put something on the floor e.g. B. a napkin to keep the tortillas from sticking to the bottom, but I use an old washcloth that I only used to hold the tortillas. Now I have these and when they're fresh off the stove I use this old rag and put it on the floor. As long as the lid is fully closed, this warmer keeps the tortillas really warm. You can actually see steam when you lift the lid, so be careful when you take them out. Easy to clean but the instructions say dishwasher safe but the sticker on the bottom says hand wash only. I only hand wash and it still looks great.
