Review on πŸ” LTOOL Binocular Tripod Adapter - Universal 1/4" Mount for New Binoculars Rest - Compatible with All Tripods - Sleek Black Design by Desmin Dickerson

One binocular fits easily, the other has problems - there may be problems with this set

Mounting hole on binoculars compared to the mounting bolt on a tripod. For the most part I'm happy with it. Seems strong and durable as it's made of metal instead of plastic. The handle is comfortable but not metal. It's some kind of plastic or rubber. I had a problem with it, but I don't know if the problem was with that or with the binoculars. When I tried to screw it in, it didn't quite go. I had to use pliers to tighten it which resulted in damage to the handle. When I tightened it to the end, I couldn't unscrew it. Again I had to use pliers. The screw hole in the binocular was a ΒΌ inch diameter hole in the 3/8 inch stud on the other side where it would screw into the binocular. The whole screw came out. I had to use two pairs of pliers to separate this bracket from this screw. Obviously the ΒΌ" screw was too tight for the ΒΌ" hole, but I don't know if the screw was too big or the hole was too small. I had another pair of binoculars and had no problem screwing them in, so I think the problem was probably with the first pair of binoculars, but it can be difficult to verify if your binoculars are the problem or not if you don't have one Screw that allows you to check the hole or measure it accurately, although the size doesn't have to be too big to cause a problem.
