The shoes are a little big in length but they put on very easily and keep the shoes on the baby's foot. My daughter loves taking her shoes off and I thought that would be an issue as they are large but the laces and design of the shoes allow them to be tightened in the right spot where she cannot take them off. These are soft-soled shoes and are not suitable for walking outdoors. They don't have much support for running toddlers. I only got them for photos, if you are looking for your child to wear them outside and run around I would not recommend them. The quality was as expected for the price and the images, so I'm happy with the purchase. The color was accurate and matched perfectly with the clothes I bought to go with the shoes. My daughter is 2.5 and I am size 6-12 months, she is small for her height, only weighs 19 pounds, but the shoes were still too long for her, they might fit a larger or medium sized baby, that is 2 . : )
