I was looking for trigger gloves to wear while cycling between home and work in Chicago in the winter (about 45 minutes each). The price ($70) seemed a bit high at first, but the gloves are worth the price I paid: they're very warm and comfortable, and they keep my hands at a decent even in 20 F and moderate winds (10 mph). Temperature. I don't know what waterproofing is as I don't ride in the rain or too much snow but the gloves are perfect for what I plan to do.
