This gel really moisturizes! The smell puts me off a little, and the color is a shade of yellow, whatever the cost. I was surprised that it was a gel and not a cream and while it didn't lather much it had a slightly squeaky clean feel AND a certain moisturized feel too. and after a few hours my face was neither dry nor oily. Pretty efficient. At least it doesn't smell like the Acure! So overall not bad.
