I bought this monitor to replace an old HP monitor that kept losing its HDMI connection. No typo. The HDMI cable was fine, I know this because I've tried a few other HDMI cables that work with different TVs. It was a monitor that kept losing connection. Of course, the HP monitor is almost 5 years old. This monitor has a higher refresh rate and also has a built-in USB hub. I've been using it for about 3 months and it works very well. I'm using the same HDMI cable as before. I also use a hub as I have a wired keyboard and mouse combo that I prefer and a webcam connected to it.
