I was looking for a large shopping bag that would be very simple. What I wanted most was a large empty space in the bag with no center pocket or any pockets at all. Having sections, pockets and compartments must be a trend these days because I searched for two days before I found this bag. It has only one inner pocket that runs the full depth of the bag and has no zipper, PERFECT! it is unusual for the inner pocket to be so deep and I found it very comfortable. I don't have to worry about my phone or anything just falling out, and another plus is that it doesn't have a zipper, just a nice, simple pocket to reach into. When I put my hand in my pocket I can tell exactly what I'm looking for as it feels, so I wanted a big open space to drop all my stuff and go. I can get all my magazines, a makeup bag, an iPhone accessory bag, a couple bags of markers, pens, and journaling supplies, a headphone bag, a couple of standard-size books, two or three small bags from the store, and even a large oversized hoodie inside and out even more space left. I was also looking for a pocket that wipes clean easily and is wider vertically than horizontally (it's easier to find things when the pocket is wider than it is very deep and narrow). I found it as described and would definitely recommend it. It also came in a nice dust cover for storage.
