Review on 🖨️ VOXELAB Proxima 8 3D Printer by Michael Willis

There are only good things to say about this printer. I've probably already spent about 30 hours printing through this thing and other than the first couple of failed prints (my fault) I haven't had any issues and the prints are super high quality! I've always wanted to print big things with my SLA printers and have always been limited by the size of the bed. Almost 5 x 7 in bed, although larger models can be printed without cutting open. The printer is pretty quiet compared to my Photon and the screen is much easier to read. It took me less than a minute to level the bed and about 5 minutes to print my first model. With the lid full over the printer the resin smell is much less noticeable than my Photon, also I thought the lid was a flaw at first but I really prefer it now. One thing I've always struggled with with my Photon is that the single guide caused every little wobble in my prints, but the dual Z guides on the Proxima solved that problem. I printed the cube skull to its maximum height and the model came out very smooth with no imperfections. Overall I would definitely recommend this printer even for beginners as it is easy to use and has more features compared to a smaller SLA printer.
