Review on Soffe Juniors' Authentic Cheer Short: Comfortable and Stylish Shorts for Junior Cheerleaders by Mary Beauchene

Like many other people, I wore them to high school (I had them in almost every color, then they were just basic colors but no design unless you made them unusual) for team ), but for some reason after the release I stopped wearing them as much and then stopped wearing them all together and then they ended up being lost or packed up when I moved out of my parents house. I completely forgot about them until recently when I looked around the house for shorts and found them. Got a huge dose of nostalgia and ordered a pair because I remembered how comfortable they were, they were so comfortable I wore them all the time no kidding. Unfortunately, these aren't half as good as they used to be. I ordered the XL in navy (I'm 5ft 6150lbs, I usually wear large but wanted a little looser as I will be wearing them around the house). They just have an odd fit and the material is very thin and stiff, the "high waist" is much higher than before and even after rolling it up twice it still looks very odd, they almost look like cycling shorts if that's what you mean. I have big hips, big hips and a big butt, but the extra high waist and weird rectangular design makes my lower body look really boxy and flat, NOT flattering at all. 🙃 This is the exact opposite of the ones I loved wearing and buying at school. SUCK BIG TIME 😕😭 but I think a lot can happen in 8 years and it seems like they've lost a lot of quality over the years. Hopefully they go back to the original design, if they do I will be buying another pair in each color again , until soffe no longer exists in my book it's not soffe just a very cheap and crappy copycat version 😂
