Lives up to expectations! This is my second Speck StyleFolio for iPad Mini; I have had my first for over 2 years and it has held up great with very little wear just a little peeling of the inner skin. I switched to this new model over 8 months ago and it has performed brilliantly. This case is ideal for those who use their iPad for reading, surfing the web, etc. My favorite features of this case are: • Durable leather/plastic case that offers protection yet is light enough to carry around for long periods of time • Adjustable kickstand holds iPad in multiple positions • Plastic clip to secure iPad when not in use, or for attaching the front cover while in use. My iPad is most commonly used for reading books on the Kindle app and reading recipes while cooking or baking. This case performs better than others on the market for both tasks. When reading, I can remove the front cover and hold my iPad for hours thanks to the lightweight design. While cooking, I can use the Recipe View Stand feature, which adjusts based on the strong light or lighting conditions. The stand is very solid and has never fallen off, which is an important feature! I have recommended it to several other iPad Mini users and have only heard good things about it. One family member who uses their iPad Mini more hours a day than I do was amazed by the stand's durability and the ability to wipe the outer skin with a damp cloth. I highly recommend this iPad mini case. I've used Apple's Smart Cover in the past and haven't found my iPad Mini that useful when using Smart Cover. Simply put, this product makes me use my iPad MORE and with more satisfaction than ever before.
