Review on Logitech Advanced Illuminated Wireless Keyboard Computer Accessories & Peripherals for Keyboards, Mice & Accessories by Scott Kulothungan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

too small but great

The space between the main keyboard and the cluster to the right is too tight. A little extra helps your fingers navigate without looking or fiddling around. The lighting is good; Unlike some keyboards that only light up the outlines of the keys, this one lights up the actual letters printed on it. I just got my first battery warning. It's been 5 months and I rarely use light but I type a lot. Immediately after the warning, I could no longer illuminate the keyboard. Not bad. Now I have to find the right battery charging cable. Remember that the battery is not removable. So if it can't be charged, you'll have to throw away the keyboard. Very wasteful but profitable for Logitech. Also note that the computer does not know when the battery is low; The keyboard displays the message on the screen whenever it wants. The message will appear for a minute and then disappear - I hope you don't miss it. You can print. There's little noise and key travel seems normal, although I miss the longer travel found on older machines, it's probably faster. I struggle with the number pad and wonder if it's squashed because my fingers often hit the wrong keys. Maybe I'll get used to it. I hope so because I need a full keyboard but I hate that it takes up so much space. I'll add comments as I come up with something new. Just a reminder - I'm quite happy with it despite the sophistry.
