This is my field monitor of choice. After using the Atomos (heavy, expensive, slow, dim), the SmallHD (expensive, heavy, slow, dim), Portkeys (clunky interface, failed in the first month and horrible customer service), Feelworld (good but cheap feeling), I'm, glad I found Fotga. Here's what I like:- The touch screen on this monitor is simple and easy to navigate and intuitive.- The clip-on screen shade is great as a screen protector.- This monitor is plastic, but it feels solid- It's light. I have a small rig and don't really want to weigh down my camera with a heavy monitor that dips from the added weight all the time.- It's bright. Bright enough to see in daylight. What I don't like:- not much- My only concern really is that this can get hot. I haven't used this yet on a hot day, but I know that bright screens will always get hot and heat just isn't good for electronics. I've had no problems with this monitor, though, unlike the Portkeys, which overheated and failed within a month of minimal, indoor use.You can look around a try a lot of monitors, but this is the best one I've found even with the more expensive brands.
