Be sure to watch my video to see how great it works. At first they weren't paying attention, I thought I ordered something that in itself was multicolored. However, what it does is actually neater in my opinion. Whenever the water is cold or falls below a certain temperature it will turn blue, when it falls within a more acceptable range it will turn green, and if it's too hot or red, here's how to tell the water may be reducing or must be left there if you like hot showers. I personally find green in the ideal range and I was glad this rat didn't have a temperature. There's nothing worse than jumping into a cold shower you thought was warm, and that helps. "Right out of the box" worked the first time, easy install, didn't even have to look at the instructions, but I've also installed different shower heads, up to probably 3 different heads in my lifetime. Can only recommend this product, it is worth every penny. Couldn't be happier, coolest thing I've ever had, probably the only thing I'll ever want to use again!
