My son bought me this suitcase a few years ago and it's completely worn out (stitching started tearing, zippers broke) but I liked it so much for the price that I bought again the same. I would have preferred water resistance - sometimes water seeped in and damaged the paper and computer - but this case serves me well. The waterproof cases I've tested are more expensive and lack some of the features of this case. I use it for 15.6" laptops and take advantage of the extra space for power cords etc. I carry two laptops for personal and business use and this bag fits both perfectly. The metal zippers on the new suitcase are strong and work perfectly (my old suitcase has worn out the fabric holding the zipper's "teeth"). The variety of compartments and pockets allows me to carry many different accessories, personal items, snacks, etc. I don't use a shoulder strap, but I can see how useful it will be for users who can get heavy in a bag with contents. I like the sliding divider in the main compartment - it protects my computers and doesn't scratch each other. The bag is well padded on all sides to protect the computers.
