Still needs daily maintenance but stays much cleaner than clumpy
I've tried clumping filler and crystals. I've had traditional trays and automatic ones. So far this combination is my favorite. I still have to scoop every day, but the box itself stays clean and the absorbent urine pads are easy to swap out every few days. No persistent smell. Also, the pellets seem to be much less scattered around the house. I have yet to find a substrate that doesn't track, but I'm finding fewer of these spheres than clay or crystals.
