Heats up, turns off.
I bought it for my E6540. The adapter gets very hot when charging. This will result in an error and Windows will shut down. In this case, the charger will not respond until it has cooled down. This thing is COMPLETELY useless. I am considering returning it as it is useless to me. I just don't want anyone else to be stuck with this headache.
