Very soft and fashionable for girls. They have working laces but my daughter wears them loose. They look amazing and she says they are comfortable. She has a pair of almost every color. They turn out normal, but shrink a bit in the dryer. We will order new spring and summer colors but 1 size bigger. My daughter usually wears a 5/6 in jogging pants/sportswear and I ordered that in it. They fit just right but leave no room for growth. Next time I'll take size 7/8. The drawstring is good for tightening around the waist. Recommend!
