I bought three of these because they were very cheap and I had experience with them. The first one I opened to use didn't play the cassette. He stumbled on like it was the end of a tape. The previous recorder's pause switch will remain in the "on" position, so it will no longer play or record. These recorders are getting old and hard to buy so I buy them when I can.
