These appear to be really good, well made cables. On my Nexus 7 Gen 2, this allows me to stay connected to the home power supply and still use the tablet. It charges while in use, as does the OEM cable for the games I play (mostly puzzles) and for streaming music and movies. The cables are also larger than the OEM cables, so I'm assuming they are calibrated. or two large. Having just received them I can't say how long they will last but for now I would recommend them.
