Review on Highly Efficient 60x60mm Trimming Bearing Platform Sliding for Smooth Operations by Steven Pankey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If that's what you need, great. and also here are some measurements and observations.

I had to 3D microposition something to work with a microscope and it works great. Be aware of the size and adjustability of the platform as it will be too small for most applications. The description does not contain as much information as we would like, there are no drawings or instructions, so you must know what you are doing. Solve e.g. B. all three knurled nuts before turning the shims. Also, both the top and bottom plates measure 60 x 60 x 6mm (that's about 2 3/8 inches square for those of you who can't think in metric units). There are 9 threaded mounting holes on the top that accept 4mm screws. The screw holes are at a distance of 5 mm from the edge of the plate. The bottom plate has 4 x 4.45mm through holes located 5mm from the edge of the platform to accept 4mm allen head screws. To access these holes, you must move the X-Feed completely in one direction, install the first 2 screws, and then move the X-Feed completely the other direction to install the remaining two. Hope this is helpful. If you need to provide a leveling function, you can easily use the threaded holes on the top to make a micro-leveling plate similar to the 3D printer bed because the 6 threaded holes are accessible from the bottom. You can get 4mm thumbscrews and put them in from the bottom up and they become micro-levelers (it's a bit more if you need springs etc but if you're into that sort of thing get the picture).

Pros
  • High precision and smooth movement can be achieved by using a cross roller guide.
Cons
  • Doubtful
