Great job! I was driving with the second, protective layer of my fabric convertible top because the Velcro padded portion that held the top to the rear window had come loose. I tried to get it to stick by hammering it in place, but with little wind or shaking and rattling while driving on the road, it would come loose again, which not only looked unsightly but also affected my vision due to this flap Quarters or my rear window. . Very frustrating! I wasn't sure about this product but it was cheap enough that even if it didn't work it wouldn't be a huge loss of money so I took a chance. I started by swapping out the soft, fuzzy part, removing the protective strip and aligning it directly over the old, worn strip and hammering it in place. It literally took 10 seconds, I tested it. and that's all i had to do! I didn't even have to tighten the rough part of the velcro. I drove about 1000 miles and the top stayed attached, I even lowered the top (ultimate test) and when the top came back up the protective layer was still perfectly attached to the top insulating layer of my convertible. . I saved the rough part of the strip just in case, and if the soft part stops working I know I can just peel off the adhesive strip and put on a new one.
