I live in the East Bay area where we have hot summers but typically cool nights. Was looking for a lightweight comforter for those nights when you need more comforter than just a sheet but a regular comforter is too warm. It's perfect! Material: The material is similar to that of cloth diapers - lightweight transparent material made of 100% cotton. It is breathable, very soft and comfortable. In terms of size, we have an adjustable king-size double bed, so we struggled to find a duvet that fell far enough on the sides. The king size isn't wide enough for me (might fit others) so I bought a queen and twins - trimmed the width of the queen to fit the top of our bed and then cut out the twin. half and sewn on each side, so big that it almost falls on the floor, which is what I wanted. love this blanket!
