It took me 3 tries to stick it on my new phone case which has a pattern that creates an uneven texture. I tried using the transparent piece shown between the case and the drive. Fell twice. I ended up putting the disc right on the case and it stayed. Because of the thickness, you have no option to put it under a case. Works fine now that I've figured it out.
