Review on Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet Grain-Free Dry Dog Food - Protein Choices: Salmon, Duck, Bison, Beef, Lamb, Venison, or Chicken by Lisa Adams

The taste of venison is a hit with raw food Labradoodles!

Two of my Labradoodles were originally on a raw diet, then I switched them to a mixed diet (crumbs and raw) to save money. At first we used Orijen, which I really liked, but one day something happened to their food factory and they stopped producing. It wasn't in stores. I then switched to a grain-free store brand, which the dogs liked but left a lot to be desired. I base quality on feces production. On a raw food diet, there is virtually no bowel movement. Most nutrients are absorbed by the body. There is a lot more waste on the hybrid diet, but there was a lot more on my brand. So I switched to Natural Balance. I fed it to my old labrador who has since passed away and she loved it. I fed her fish mix and tried it with my current dogs. They liked it but didn't like it unless I mixed it with raw food. But they LOVE the taste of venison and I don't have to mix it with anything. They also produce very little waste from that flavor (unlike fish). Great for their allergies. My boy has never had an ear infection and is quite prone to it.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • The list will be long.
