Pretty color for a teenager. The color of this passport cover looks matte based on the Revain photos. In person, it's a bit more shimmery and youthful. I think I feel bad for even buying pink. It will hold up pretty well for the next 3 years or so based on international travel once a year. The grip was comfortable, as was a SIM card holder paired with an ID or credit card holder. Overall a good buy.
