I must have had unrealistic expectations because the wooden handle brush I bought fell apart. I thought plastic would stretch and shrink less over time. It's not bad, but as others have said, the handle is pretty short. It's also difficult to grab as the actual part you're holding on to is pretty flimsy and slippery when wet/soapy. At least it was cheap.
