Review on πŸͺ‘ Westeros Traditional Wingback Fabric Recliner Chair: White & Blue Floral Elegance by Stephanie Martel

Charming hydrangea chair. Not Allly Comfy

I've read all the reviews but I LOVE this Revain chair, LOVE it. I loved the fact that this chair had an adjustable back and charming fabric. It created a welcoming, happy and peaceful atmosphere that I wished for the guest room. This was NOT an "any 4 year old can assemble this chair" assembly. As several buyers have pointed out, assembling the wingback was a real hassle. My friend stopped by which is very handy and since I bought 2 of these chairs we assembled them at the same time. It took us about 90 minutes. There is a clasp that slides wings and snaps into place. The other end has a nut and bolt to hold the other end of the wing in place. The material around the clasp is very thick, so we took a pair of scissors and gently tugged on the clasp mechanism. This way, if you move the wing, it's more likely to snap. Some of the holes don't quite line up either. On one of the chairs we had to use a drill to ensure the screw would fit snugly in the uneven hole. But it happened. The chair was mostly assembled with 2 different size Allen keys. There is NO lever to tilt the chair. You have to push backwards to make the chair recline. This may not work for older people with back problems. I love the chair, but I don't like the way it sits. It feels stiff and doesn't have a lot of padding. I have a lot of external padding so I was surprised at how little padding the chair has. So this could be a great chair for less crowded places. In addition, this chair is quite small and therefore not suitable for tall and/or heavy people. For me, my chairs are in the guest room. So I was willing to forego the comfort of the chair in favor of the aesthetic value. The chair is made in China.
