Less than I thought. Installed on my trunk it seems more difficult to open for some reason. Certainly not super strong locks, but they look good. I was surprised to see a keyhole on the back! Not a word about it in the ad. So I looked for a key and figured I could use a card or a key! I finally found out that security has a master key, which doesn't make me very happy. Someone could open it, do anything with my guns, maybe even load and shoot, and lock it again, and I'll never know. I think it would be better if I had a lock installed so I could inventory my belongings.
