I absolutely hate buying stuff without many reviews especially something that is close to $100 but I just bought my first home and this cart looked absolutely perfect so got it I risked it and I'm not sorry! If you've assembled furniture before, you should be able to do this if you're careful and follow the instructions (which DEFINITELY could be better, but suit the job). I've built tons of furniture from bookcases to tv stands, sofas and 2 seater sofas and I'd say it's moderately difficult. A beginner could certainly do this, just be prepared to constantly review the instructions and take your time. This can be done by one person but it would be nice to have a second person lift the very heavy granite lid so keep that in mind. (Assembly Note: Every time I build furniture I use wood glue on all the wooden dowels to make everything stronger and unlike many other sets this set didn't have any so I broke my own. I highly recommend this step recommend.! ) Once assembled it is very solid and looks exactly like the picture. The color of the cabinet and granite countertop is as shown. I am very satisfied with this cart.
