It has a big suction cup which is good but there are two problems. The suction cup is not concave enough and does not suck well. Second, the big button that says "Press" does absolutely nothing as there is no "Up" or "Down" button in the spring/mechanism above the suction cup. A good mount works so that you press this button and as you press it you move the lever down and it locks the mount onto the surface. I already had a Fat Gecko mount and it was a quality product and I decided to send it back and get two more Fat Geckos. Even though they cost more than double, I have to be careful not to fall my cameras off the car. Save time and buy a better mount. These things hardly stick to the window
