Review on 🚗 Loraffe Under Hood Animal Repeller: Ultrasonic Rodent Repellent with LED Rodent Strobe Light for Vehicle Protection by Ulysses Fincher

I live in a "desert landscape" where it is almost impossible to control the different types and numbers of living beings. As a result we have had cable damage on 4 different vehicles over the last 10 years. After the last incident with my wife's machine over 2 years ago, I purchased a similar product from my local Ace hardware store which has proven successful in preventing further 'attacks'. Turns out my car just got repaired for about $500! Why didn't I put something like this in when I first got the car? It is now installed and will hopefully be as efficient as it was in my wife's car. This contains an ultrasonic sound as well as a flashing LED - the device in my wife's car only has a flashing light. It was very easy to install with the zip ties provided and I made sure to point the speaker and LED down into the area where the previous damage had occurred. Connecting to the battery was easy and the whole installation took about 5 minutes from opening the box to completion. The unit in my wife's car was quicker to install as the strong magnet holds it in place without zip ties and the battery cables have spring clips allowing for tool-less installation. This unit connects more securely (the spring clips could potentially separate from the battery and cause the unit to stop working, but that hasn't happened in 2 years), but I need to keep an eye on the zip ties as they can get in become brittle over a few years and the device can then fall into the engine compartment and possibly damage it. Despite these comments, I really like this unit and will be ordering more for our other two cars. The low price is more than enough to avoid expensive repair bills in the future. I will also be spraying rat repellent in the engine bay and around the wheel arches regularly to increase the effectiveness of this product as I am a strong believer in redundancy to prevent a reoccurrence. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone concerned about pack rats. or other damage to your car by rodents!
