I bought two of these mainly because I bought an all white mattress (which I thought) and was getting paranoid. I'll buy a third one when we set up our guest room. It's $50 in the big stores, but not here. It follows the contours of a deep mattress and doesn't lose its shape. Our cat peed on the bed, protecting the new solid white satin mattress. I thought the "waterproof" statement was an exaggeration considering it looks like fabric, but it worked! It is breathable and not hot in summer. It doesn't add any padding or weight. Would recommend to anyone with allergies. It can be washed and dried, which is very important to me. My mattresses look like new. After a year on the bed, this liner is just as plush and in the same great condition as when I put it on the bed. Consider buying a second one for the spring block. Too bad I don't have it now.
