Ordering this product was a bit confusing. I think there were 3 or 4 different styles of cord and for some reason I thought this one had a button. It's not like this. But it was enough to do what I needed, so I hooked up my own switch. A big problem was that my Garmin 35 DVR was not registered as this charge only cable. He read it like a data cable. I do not know why. But I ended up having to cut the cable next to the camera and plug in the connector from the camera kit. Once I did that, it just registered correctly as a fee. That's why I deducted 2 stars. Otherwise, I like that it comes with 2 USB ports (although I wish they were marked free, meaning a higher amperage port) and the blue LED is a nice touch.
