The old version was better.
The old version had a flat gel bottom that held the dashboard well if it was flat enough. In the new version, the disk is slightly crooked in the middle. This makes part of the central disc higher and part lower than the outer ring. So there's not much contact with the surface it's resting on, and the new material doesn't bond as well, so it moves more. Otherwise it's well made and has a nice big disc on the top. I returned my purchase in favor of a bad bean type that hopefully doesn't move much and contours the dash better.
