Please note; I like this camera and overall I am happy with the purchase. The reviews report many of the qualities of this "Corder" and all the positives - that's because the company says they give out the top 5 reviews each month with a potentially free product (specified right on the special instruction card, supplied with the product). , so just pay attention Please note that reviews are biased. There are some negatives that should be posted so you get a full picture of what you are getting. Again, I love this camera and would buy it again. First, the microphone on the gallows is distorted in the photos. the mic has a mini jack output at the end of the coiled cable but the camera only accepts mini usb so there is a pigtail that needs to be plugged into the cable and then into the camera - no breaking convention but i hate misrepresentations, and it also looks like a ghetto with all the cables and extension cords. Second, the instructions are very outdated (links to Windows XP and Vista only), and if grammar is your kryptonite, buckle up because you're about to blow a fuse; Again, this isn't a breach of terms and conditions, it's what you need to prepare for. Also, the instructions don't say anything about the 3 lenses that come with the camera, but you can find out by just playing around. Finally, customer service is lacking. I have sent 3 emails with setup questions and have not received a response. All in all, this is a good little camera. It has many features that make it a semi-professional device. Read other reviews, they are accurate but offer free stuff so balance your expectations and you'll be fine.
