These boots are very cute but the horrible chemical smell they emit makes me sick. I didn't notice it when I first opened the boots out of the box. The next day I sent my daughter to kindergarten in boots. When I picked her up she was wearing them and I could smell the boots from a few feet away. As we drove home, the smell filled the car and I choked. I'm not a smell sensitive person but it was awful. I left them in the garage overnight and brought them back the next day. Anything that smells that strongly of chemicals must be bad for my daughter. I also thought the boots were short but that wasn't a deal breaker like a chemical smell.
