This desk has a nice design but is too small for regular computers. As with much furniture today, dimensions are determined by packaging considerations. It's like they design the box first and then design the furniture that fits in the box. It looks good at first glance, but the bamboo plywood started delaminating on some edges almost immediately. I solved the sizing issue by making my top and bottom shelves deeper and longer with birch plywood, so the table works fine now even though I've made half of it.
