This item consists of a screw on one side and a nut on the other side. it is not two nuts welded to metal as it should be. I was able to attach it so that I could screw it in on either side by taking it apart and using a dremel to cut the metal screw. be a complete screw. Product developers don't give a damn about one of the most basic functions a product should perform. It only gets 3 stars because unlike the other product I bought this was fixed with a mod. The other design was hopeless.
